INORGANIC CHEMISTRY RESEARCH TEAM

The Muñoz research group focuses on the design of novel coordination complexes based on main group and earth-abundant transition metals for various chemical transformations and the design of supramolecular architectures to unlock unusual reactivity of metal centers in confined spaces.

We are committed to practicing the art of coordination-organometallic chemistry with the highest standards of safety and laboratory best practices. Our students and research fellows are constantly trained with state-of-the-art synthetic methods to handle air-sensitive compounds with access to several dry boxes, Schlenk lines, and Schlenk type glassware. Regular housekeeping of our laboratories is mandatory to maintain safe research spaces.

We are always looking for motivated graduate and undergraduate students. Postdoctoral positions may be available. Contact the PI for further information.
